Before leaving St-Lucia we decided to book a boat tour on the St-Lucia river to spot some hippos and crocos even closer...
You don't have to wait too long to see them, we saw about 7-8 different hippos families, located in their own 'territory'

We saw only 1 crocodile this time, but a nice and long one...

A nice fish-eagle showing us the way with its wing...

And again some laughing hippos...

Then we took the way North to reach our next station : Ithala Game reserve

To save about 80km I decided to take a shortcut on the 'Road 66'...then I drove about 30km on a bumping road full of stones...nevertheless we could appreciate the landscape and the life conditions in the campaign...
