It did not change our plan, we drove to the Hluluwe Imfolozi Park, smaller than Kruger Park but malaria-free and high chance to see the Big Five and much more...
And we were right...with the rain the animals are moving much more, not staying hidden in the bush and sleeping during 15hours ...
So we could see :
Nyala female & Baby
Blue wildebeest (Gnu)
Nyala male
Rhino, of course they have right of way on the road...:-) there is anyway no place to drive !

wild horses...
...and the highlight of the day...
About 10-15m from us 3 lionnesses and 2 cubs, waiting for the rain to stop...
Magic moments...
Like a miracle, the rain stopped in the evening, just when we started to cook
But what are these eyes watching us in the bush...?
A Hyena, just close to our Braai (BBQ) ! No way that's our meat !
Quite impressive also, especially when you know that hyenas have the strongest jaw in the whole bush...when they catch you, no chance to escape ! But we survived :-D
